Hands-on – Advanced Equine Anatomy (April 22nd)

Advanced Equine Anatomy is offered following the Guided Tour of Equine Anatomy workshop and continues the hands-on investigation of the anatomy of the horse. During the day participants will be able to study specific systems in the horse such as the mechanics of the leg or the complexities of the respiratory system. This in-depth analysis will provide you with the opportunity to learn more about how a horse functions.

*A Guided Tour of Equine Anatomy is a prerequisite for this workshop.

Well known for his ability to bring anatomy to life, Dr. Thomason teaches anatomy to veterinary students at the Ontario Veterinary College.   Dr. Thomason is a researcher conducting internationally recognized research on the equine hoof. Dr. Thomason will be your guide through basic to more advanced anatomy topics highlighting form and function.

This unique opportunity is hosted by Equine Guelph.
