Your colleagues in this online course could be spread out around the world and come from a range of horse backgrounds and experiences. Through this online environment, we will be able to share our common experiences and discuss differences.

Today we begin with Unit 1 – Introduction and Horse Behaviour: Wild vs. Stabled. Please take some time to read the resources provided and discuss with your group the housing and management decisions that you feel affect the behaviour of the stabled horse in a way that is different from that described of the wild horse. How do these decisions affect the horse and what efforts can be made to minimize the impact?
