Welcome to Day 4

Today we are examining safe horse handling.  We have a number of activities including working on the first part of the assignment:

Please review the section on this assignment in both the outline and details on day 4 and ask me if you have any questions.

A suggestion to help keep discussions organized – please include either the topic and/or lesson number in the first line of your post (perhaps in bold).  That will help to keep discussions a little more stream lined.

And lastly – last year I had the opportunity to work with one of our sponsors, WSPS, on their Stop Think Act campaign.  Essentially, the goal of this concept is to:

• Stop long enough to think about what you’re about to do
• Think about how you’re going to do it. Is it the safest way? If not, how can you do it better?
• Act in the safest way possible
