Hello and welcome to Fire Prevention and Emergency Preparedness.
We are so happy to have you with us – joining our Horse Portal.
I’m Susan Raymond, the course instructor. Rebecca Gimenez-Husted is our guest expert.
Because of the current COVID-19 outbreak, inspecting a barn or facility may not be possible for you at this time. If this is not something available for you right now, we encourage you to complete these activities at a time when it is safe for you to do so.
The online environment is the classroom. I will be using the announcements to communicate with the class. Please make sure you check for new announcements each time you log onto your course.
Our Fire Prevention and Emergency Preparedness course is 1 week with 7 units. Each day equals 1 unit (Monday through Sunday).
Today – I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the course. Read the course overview, outline and bios. Today we begin with unit 1.
If you have any questions, please use “Discussions” – Questions to the Instructor
